Breakthrough, an outpouring of the Holy Spirit...

So, as some of you are well aware, I am a follower of Jesus Christ. Wow, that sounds so shallow. How to explain who you are and the depth of what you believe in a few short words - it eludes me.

Anyway, I have been "watching" iHop's (International House of Prayer) Prayer Room for gosh, almost a year. We turn it on and leave it playing all day in our home. It has brought peace and encouragement to me and I have enjoyed Waaaaay more than the 10.00 a month cost. Last Wednesday in one of the iHop University classes -- there was an amazing outpouring of the Holy Spirit. People were able to FEEL and see the manifestations of the Holy Spirit as he poured out His love on them. Students were physically healed, emotionally healed and Set FREE! I believe that this 1 class lasted for 15 hours!!!! Now that is what amazes me the most, that students would WANT to be in class that long - hahaha!
Since that night, iHop has been holding special services from 6pm-12midnight every nite and sharing it via webcast for FREE! There have been testamonies of deliverance, healing and soooo many examples of the Fathers Love for His children. It has been so encouraging and I am looking forward to receiving more healing for myself, my family and basically EVERYONE who is at iHop or watching/participating via webstream. As you can read from my post yesterday, the process has begun in me. Thank you Jesus.

You can participate at http://www.ihop.org/watch from 6pm-12midnight CST ~ see you there!

focus....

I have recently been learning a lot from the Lord regarding my focus. Is my focus on my circumstances and what I have made of them or is my focus on the Lord and what HE is doing IN my circumstances? Don't get me wrong... I am thrilled with where I am right now (not with all things however), but He wants to change me - US ....from Glory to Glory.

Since allowing HIM to show me where my focus was, I have been a lot more open to change, to allow Him to change me. Just recently (last night actually) I finally allowed the Lord to show me some of my past (yep, ouch) BUT- do you know what I learned ?!? He was there through it all. Loving me, every step of the way. Reaching out. It was ME who chose to stuff my feelings, to stuff myself, to basically choose to dislike myself enough to hide. To allow myself to become something I did not like, to basically reject myself. It is amazing what a fear will do, when you let it take control of your life. I see now, how I managed to get myself into some of the messes I am in...I allowed myself and it is sin. Now that I know, I am more than READY to let Him change me. To allow Him to finish the good work he has begun in me. AND I am excited to see Him complete His good work in YOU! It is ok to give yourself permission to see yourself as a pure and spotless bride, even if you don't feel that way. Because HE sees you as His Bride and Loves YOU!

FREEDOM

"It is ok to give yourself permission to see yourself as a pure and spotless bride. Because no matter how hard we judge or even hate ourselves at times...Jesus still loves us and sees us as HIS pure and spotless bride!" Be free, my friend.

Not by Works

Chill, Relax, take a deep breath - there's nothing you can do to make God love you any more or any less today, because YOU are His Favorite! ♥ Enjoy the freedom!
Wait, are you not sure that you are HIS favorite? Just Ask Him. ♥ He will show you His love

The JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH

The JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH & because of this I am not concerned about what might happen. My future is in His Hands & for that I am grateful. I am grateful in the security that I feel resting in Him. It might be a winding road that I am on but when I feel that I cannot go on anymore, He carries me even further.I am thankful that He will not stop or give up on me, because He is my loving faithful Father. He is the God of restoration & will complete His good work in me. I am so thankful that He is changing me on the inside from Glory to Glory.

God's Not finished...

"But the LORD said to Samuel, "Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things man looks at. Man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart." 1 Sam. 16:7 (NIV)

I am so thankful that God knows our heart and still loves us, shortcomings and all. That He chose us even with our blemishes.

"Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord" 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 (KJV)

Because He has created us to be His Bride, He will continue to change us if we allow Him. He will never leave us alone and He will guide us and strengthen us as we go - what a beautiful picture of God.

For of this I am confident, that He who has begun a good work within you will go on to perfect it in preparation for the day of Jesus Christ. (weymouth) Philippians 1:6

I am just so thankful that He who has begun a good work is not finished with me yet!
Thank you Jesus!

Don't let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.

Don't let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good. Romans 12:21

"Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everybody. If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. Do not take revenge, my friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay,"says the Lord. On the contrary:
"If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head." Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:17-21

~ I find it interesting that the words "feed" your enemies and "drink" for the thirsty are used in these verses. As to me; food would represent the work of the Father as in John 4:34 "My food," said Jesus, "is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work." or food representing the Word of God; while thirsty typically represents the Living water. So, if we Choose to do good, God will avenge. Not that we would hope for revenge, but to Hope for our enemy's salvation (to bless those who curse you) ...by feeding them and offering them drink, might they be saved? Are the burning coals possibly the sword, the word of God, cutting them to the core? Is it possible that instead of repaying our enemies for what they have done, we might lead them to the Lord by our actions and that This might be the burning coals - That in turn they might become what they despise? Jesus within us.

just some thoughts...
